Benda NA · the honest report

A report we
refuse to fake.

Benda is a real Chinese motorcycle maker known for striking cruisers, but reliable public specifications for an electric "NA" model are not yet confirmed. Rather than invent numbers, we publish only what is verified and flag the rest as being checked.

What we can confirm
The 10-second answer

This page is in progress. We can confirm the maker (Benda, a real Chinese brand known for cruisers), but the exact model "NA" and its specifications, including whether it is electric, are not yet independently verified. We never publish a plausible-sounding guess, so the figures below are deliberately blank until confirmed.

The full report

What we can confirm, what we cannot, and the standing method we will use to fill the gaps the moment a figure is verified. All sourced.

The 10-second honest answer

Benda is a genuine Chinese motorcycle manufacturer founded in 2016, known for distinctive cruisers built around in-house engines (the LFC700 inline-four, the Chinchilla and Napoleonbob V-twins) and a P51 hybrid boxer concept. Our dataset lists this entry as a cruiser under the code "NA", but we could not confirm that exact model name, or that an electric Benda "NA" exists, from independent public sources. In line with our factual-only rule, we publish the verified context here and leave every unknown blank rather than fabricate it.

What we can confirm

The verified facts, and only the verified facts.

01

Identity and maker

Here is what is solid: the brand and its background. The model itself, and its powertrain, still need verification.

Context, not a spec: Benda's publicly documented cruisers (the LFC700, Chinchilla 300/500 and Napoleonbob 500) use internal-combustion engines, and its forward-looking P51 is a hybrid boxer concept rather than a pure electric. We could not confirm a production electric Benda "NA". Because emotopowersports tracks electric two-wheelers, this entry needs its powertrain and model name verified before we attach any specifications.

⚠ Why this page is mostly blank Our absolute rule is factual only, never fabricate. We could fill this page with confident-sounding range, power and price numbers, and you would probably believe them. We will not. Until a real source confirms a figure for this specific model, and confirms it is electric, it stays blank and labeled "being verified". That is the whole point of this report.

How we will keep them honest

The moment specs are confirmed, here is the exact math we will run on them, the same as on every other bike.

03

The math, ready to run

We cannot compute real numbers without verified inputs, but we can show exactly how we will, so you know what to demand from any listing.

# Real energy: Energy (Wh) = Voltage (V) × Capacity (Ah)
V × Ah = Wh  (inputs being verified)
# Usable: Wh × 0.88 once V and Ah are known
# Real range: Range (mi) = Usable Wh ÷ Consumption (Wh/mi)
Usable Wh ÷ Wh/mi = mi  (inputs being verified)
# Power you feel: hp = Watts ÷ 746
W ÷ 746 = hp  (rated vs peak being verified)
What to ask a seller: first, confirm whether it is actually electric; then battery voltage and amp-hours (so V × Ah gives real Wh), whether the motor figure is rated or peak, the speed at which the range was measured, and the charger wattage. Any listing that will not give you those is selling you a headline, not a spec.

The verdict

An honest status, not a score we have not earned the right to give.

04

Where this stands

We score a bike only once we have the verified inputs to justify each axis. We do not yet, so we are not going to invent a scorecard.

Bottom line: Benda is a real and distinctive manufacturer, but the "NA" model, and whether it is an electric machine at all, is not yet confirmed by independent public sources. We are holding the full scorecard, range map, cost breakdown and fit tool until we have verified data to populate them honestly. If you own or have ridden this exact model, or have a manufacturer link, we want it, our corrections policy means we publish updates and fixes in public.
💬 Help us verify Have a Benda brochure, spec sheet, or dealer listing for an electric "NA"? Send it in. We would rather ship a slightly empty page that is true than a full page that is fiction.

The math toolkit

Our standing methodology, run identically on every e-moto once its inputs are verified.

5 formulas, every bike
1Real energy in the battery
Energy (Wh) = Voltage (V) × Capacity (Ah)

The only honest way to compare two batteries.

2Usable energy
Usable Wh ≈ Nominal Wh × 0.85–0.90

You never use 0 to 100%. The BMS holds a reserve and voltage tapers at the bottom. We assume ~88%.

3Real range
Range (mi) = Usable Wh ÷ Consumption (Wh/mi)

Consumption is the lever: ~60 Wh/mi gentle, ~90 mixed, 130+ flat-out. Drag rises with speed².

4Power you can feel
hp = Watts ÷ 746  |  Continuous = cruise · Peak = launch

Always ask which number a spec quotes. Peak sells bikes; continuous moves them.

5Charge time
Time (hr) ≈ Battery Wh ÷ Charger W × 1.1

"Fast charging" is meaningless without the charger's wattage. The ×1.1 covers losses and taper.
